Poetry:

I've been writing poems since I was a young child. To me, the world is in constant yearning for words that wrap around its beating heart and hold it...just so.

Creative nonfiction is my favorite. What's not to love about conveying true stories, but through a consciously creative lens?

Telling stories has always been my go-to way of connecting with people. The intimacy of communicating one's experience of being alive - but in such a way that others feel it too - that's real storytelling.
